Heidrun T. Lind is a professionally certified dance and fitness instructor on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, originally from Germany.
Heidrun trained to teach dance and fitness while still living in Germany. After her 6 year training she became a state-certified physical education teacher and professional dance instructor, and then worked at a large German dance school teaching Latin, Ballroom, Jazzdance, Hip Hop and different fitness classes for all ages. After 7 years she decided to become self employed. She worked in a Fitness Studio as fitness instructor and personal trainer and managed and taught dance classes in her studio. After another 3 years of gathering experience she opened a bigger Dance Studio "Vamos". Choreographing and training her competitive Performance Dance troupes were her big passion. Before leaving Germany, Heidrun was awarded the title "German Vice Master" with her Performance Dance troupe and for her work in choreography.
In 2006, Heidrun came to the South Shore Nova Scotia to open her dance/ fitness school— ( “Dance and Fun”) now known as “LINDance and Fitness”. She is still teaching all kinds of different fitness classes, works as a personal trainer and teaches Latin/Ballroom, Line Dancing, Dance Aerobics and private dance classes along the South Shore.
Heidrun enjoys working with people of all ages, from all walks of life, and at all skill levels. She is happy to teach groups of students, couples who want private lessons, and individuals who want personal, one-on-one fitness training to improve their health and/or fitness in the weight room or at the person’s home. Personal dance classes are also available.
